December 16th-Final Illustrator Assignment

Today you will have half of the class to finish your Christmas cards and submit these to me. Submit only your best 1-you can choose between the photo card or the illustration. Post this to your blog.




For the final illustrator assignment you will choose to do 2 of the following 3 options:

OPTION 1

 Bring to life the first line of a Christmas carol/holiday song. This will involve working with different fonts, spacing, etc. Below are some examples:

OPTION 2

       For the second option, you would recreate a popular logo (or create your own). I am fine with you recreating a popular logo as there is a lot of learning involved in this. (I may ask you to do more than 1 depending on complexity and time involved of the logo you have chosen....ex. the Blogger logo is too easy!).

OPTION 3

    For the third option you are asked to create a fairly elaborate winter scene using various tools such as the blog brush, shape tools, gradient, etc. This could be intended for children.
